Historia yaandikwa Kibaigwa: Dkt. Samia apokelewa na umati wa zaidi ya watu 200,000

Historia nyingine imeandikwa jana jioni katika mji wa Kibaigwa, Dodoma, baada ya mgombea urais wa Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) na Rais wa sasa wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan, kupokelewa kwa shamrashamra kubwa na maelfu ya wananchi waliojitokeza kwa wingi. Dkt. Samia alikuwa anatokea mkoani Morogoro, ambako alikuwa amehitimisha mkutano wake wa kampeni, na kuelekea mkoani Dodoma kuendeleza safari yake ya kuomba ridhaa ya kuongoza tena taifa. Kwa mujibu wa mashuhuda, zaidi ya wananchi laki mbili (200,000) walijitokeza Kibaigwa wakiwa na nyimbo, nderemo, matarumbeta, zawadi na mabango yenye jumbe mbalimbali za kumuunga mkono, hali iliyoonesha upekee wa mapokezi hayo. Wananchi walifurika barabarani kuanzia mapema mchana, huku wengine wakisubiri kwa masaa kadhaa ili kushuhudia msafara wa Dkt. Samia, ambaye aliwasili jioni na kulakiwa kwa shangwe kubwa. Viongozi wa CCM mkoani Dodoma walisema tukio hilo ni uthibitisho wa mapenzi ya wananchi kwa Rais Samia, huku likiashiria mwamko wa kisiasa kuelekea Uchaguzi Mkuu wa mwaka 2025. “Mama amepokelewa kwa heshima kubwa. Wananchi wameonesha wazi imani yao kwake na hamasa ya kuhakikisha safari ya maendeleo inaendelea,” alisema mmoja wa viongozi wa chama hicho mkoani humo. Kwa upande wao, wananchi walioshiriki mapokezi hayo walisikika wakipaza sauti kwa kauli mbiu ya “Mama, jiandae kuongoza tena”, wakimaanisha kumuunga mkono Dkt. Samia kuendelea na muhula wa pili wa uongozi wake. Kibaigwa, ikiwa kitovu cha biashara na kilimo katika mkoa wa Dodoma, kimekuwa kitovu cha kisiasa chenye mvuto mkubwa, na mapokezi hayo yameelezwa kuwa ni miongoni mwa makubwa zaidi kuwahi kushuhudiwa katika historia ya mikutano ya kampeni nchini.

SIKU chache tu baada ya kupangiwa kucheza dhidi ya Gaborone United ya Botswana, Kocha Mkuu wa Simba, Fadlu Davids, ameichambua timu hiyo, huku akiweka wazi kuwa tayari ameshawatuma watu wake ili kuwapeleleza wapinzani wao. Akizungumza  nchini Misri, ambapo yuko na kikosi chake kwa ajili ya maandalizi ya msimu ujao wa mashindano, Fadlu alisema ameipokea droo iliyofanyika hapa nchini  kwa uangalifu, huku akianza mara moja kuichunguza timu ambayo wanakwenda kucheza nayo. Simba imepangwa kucheza hatua za awali Ligi ya Mabingwa Afrika, ikianzia ugenini dhidi ya Gaborone United kati ya Septemba 19 hadi 21, marudiano yakitarajiwa kuchezwa kati ya Septemba 26 hadi 29, mwaka huu. Iwapo Simba itapenya kwenye hatua hiyo, itacheza mechi ya raundi ya kwanza na mshindi kati ya Simba Bhora ya Zimbabwe na Nsingizini Hotspurs ya Eswatini. “Tutacheza na timu ngumu, tulishawahi kucheza na Jwaneng Galaxy tukaona ugumu wake, sasa tunakwenda na Gaborone United. Kucheza na timu za Botswana si kitu rahisi, ni timu zenye wachezaji wanaopenda kukimbia sana, najua watatupa changamoto, lakini sisi tunajivunia maandalizi yetu na ubora wa kikosi chetu. “Watu wangu wa uchambuzi wameshaanza kazi mara moja kuanza kuichunguza timu hiyo ili tujue ina nguvu wapi na udhaifu wake ni upi, ingawa kidogo najua baadhi ya taarifa zao, ni timu ambayo haina tofauti sana na Jwaneng Galaxy na Township Rollers,” alisema Fadlu. Alisema ana uhakika wachezaji wa timu ya Gaborone United watakuja kucheza kwa nguvu kwani wanajua wanapambana na timu kubwa ambayo ni ya tano barani Afrika kwa ubora. Fadlu alisema kwa sasa anajivunia kuwa na kikosi bora zaidi, chenye wachezaji chipukizi na wazoefu wa michuano mikubwa kama hiyo, pia maandalizi wanayoyafanya ni makubwa yenye hadhi ya michuano kama hiyo. Kocha huyo raia wa Afrika Kusini alisema kingine wanajivunia pia uwanja wa nyumbani wa Benjamin Mkapa, huku akisema safari hii hawatokubali tena kupelekwa Zanzibar kama msimu uliopita kwenye mechi za nusu na fainali ya Kombe la Shirikisho Afrika. “Nafikiri safari hii hawatotupeleka tena (New Amaan Complex), Zanzibar, hatuhitaji hilo, tunataka tucheze Benjamin Mkapa kwa sababu kila kisichowezekana pale kianawezekana,” alisema kocha huyo. Simba ilicheza mechi ya nusu fainali Zanzibar dhidi ya Stellenbosch ya Afrika Kusini, Aprili 20, mwaka huu, na kushinda bao 1-0, ambapo kwenye mchezo wa fainali dhidi ya RS Berkane, Mei 25, ilitoka sare ya bao 1-1. NextGen Ugavi Bora, Afya Bora Project must work to develop the capacity of local systems, institutions, and individuals to sustainably manage supply chains, for both US Department of State (DOS) procured health commodities and those procured through national/local systems, and to strengthen local pharmaceutical management systems, including quality pharmaceutical services and national regulatory systems Objective of the Assignment  To support the collection of qualitative and quantitative data required for the comprehensive mapping of the current SC&PM governance and supply chain financing landscape in Tanzania, including gathering data on structures, processes, policies, and mechanisms in place at national and sub-national levels. Roles and Responsibilities  The research assistants will:  Participate in training sessions to understand the mapping objectives, tools, and methodologies. Revise and translate data collection instruments in Kiswahili and English. Develop a schedule for data collection in designated study areas. Coordinate and schedule meetings with focal persons at national, regional, council, and health facility levels and collect data through Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and document reviews. Accurately record data using the provided tools. Ensure adherence to ethical standards and informed consent processes. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data collected. Support clarification and follow-up on data points as needed. Participate in team meetings and collaborative activities. Identify potential obstacles to timely task completion, resolve issues independently when possible, and communicate challenges that cannot be resolved autonomously. Maintain accurate records of meetings and research activities, including meeting minutes and an activity logbook. Ensure regular communication with team leads and other members. Ensure the safety and security of project materials, properties, personnel, and the entire team during activity execution. Respect for everyone, during execution and after the execution of the project. Perform additional tasks as requested by team leads. Deliverables  Finalized assessment tools-qualitative and quantitative Field notes summarizing key findings and audio files (recordings) Daily progress reports Activity report summarizing key observations, challenges and recommendations. Reporting and Supervision The team of research assistants will work closely with technical staff from the UBAB program. They will submit daily updates to the supervisors (Governance and Finance lead respectively) and participate in debriefing sessions to share field experiences and observations throughout the field period. Data Collectors – Private Sector Landscape Assessment (Position 9) Project Overview The purpose of the NextGen Ugavi Bora, Afya Bora (UBAB) Project is to strengthen Tanzania’s public health supply chain and pharmaceutical services to ensure sustainable access to and appropriate use of safe, effective, quality-assured, affordable health commodities. NextGen Ugavi Bora, Afya Bora Project will work to develop the capacity of local systems, institutions, and individuals to sustainably manage supply chains, for both US Department of State (DOS) procured health commodities and those procured through national/local systems, and to strengthen local pharmaceutical management systems, including quality pharmaceutical services and national regulatory systems. UBAB will further work to strengthen private sector engagement, this will be informed by the assessment results of the private sector landscape in selected regions Tanzania. Objectives of Data Collection  Collect quantitative and qualitative data using a pre-developed assessment tool (questionnaire). Gather insights on supply chain efficiency, regulatory compliance, inventory management, last-mile delivery, and private-sector engagement models. Engage both public and private sector stakeholders to obtain information on the pharmaceutical private sector engagement. Scope of Work  Data collectors will be responsible for the following activities over 15 days: Deliverables Completed assessment tools (questionnaires) with quantitative and qualitative data. • Field notes documenting key observations and stakeholder insights. • A consolidated summary report highlighting challenges, best practices, and recommendations. Qualifications and Requirements  Bachelor Degree Experience in data collection, surveys, or fieldwork in health/pharmaceutical sectors. • Familiarity with Tanzania’s supply chain systems and private health sector. • Strong communication skills (Swahili and English). Ability to travel to assigned regions and adhere to deadlines.
